Engineering Explained gives Xmas Lecture!
On the 10th and 11th of December, Engineering Explained were asked by the Tees Valley Engineering Partnership to give 6 Christmas Lectures.
The talks were held at the University of Teesside. The University of Teesside is a dynamic modern university in which, it was an absolute pleasure to be.
Teesside is a region with over a hundred years of engineering history, a proven
track record of innovation and achievement plus a unique accumulation
of engineering skills, knowledge and talent. The Tees Valley Engineering Partnership helps companies, learning organisations and support groups are working
together in collaborations and partnerships to equip themselves for a
sustainable future by developing capabilities that can compete with th
e best at all engineering levels, anywhere in the world.
Arranged by Malcolm Potter and helped by Setpoint Durham, the 6 shows over the 2 days were enjoyed by nearly a thousand Year 9 students.
Engineering Explained would like to thank Malcolm, the staff at Teessdie University and the staff at Setpoint Durham for all the hard work they put in to making the event a success!
