SMS opens new branch
We
are very excited to announce that from May 12th we will be working with
the very talented science communicator, James Piercy who will be based
in Norwich to cater for schools in East Anglia and beyond.
James has a first degree in chemistry (our first
Chemist!) and he has since completed a Masters in science
communication. He has spent the past 12 years working in science
communication, developing and presenting exhibitions, workshops and
science shows for schools and families.
James has made
numerous television appearances and given presentations at science
festivals across the UK. During his career James has entertained tens
of thousands of people, from nursery groups to chartered accountants.
He is particularly interested in the use of stories and humour as tools
to engage with audiences.
His first love is talking to people face to face and sharing his enthusiasm for the quirky and unexpected side of science. If you want to see his eyes light up, ask him about self-peeling bananas or the man with a hole in his stomach!
We are delighted to welcome James to the team and look forward to reaching a lot further East than we have been able to do so far!
